Wedding Problems #1

With the wedding coming up in a few months, i'm finding it really hard to come up with the guest list so I've been advised to use this as reference...I wish I could invite everyone  I knew but i know it just seems impossible so I've broken down my list into sections and reviewed it. So far the number is large but I can't seem to decrease the number but rather increase it each time i go over it. Let's hope I have a better list next month~

13.08.13

This wave of emotion carries me
A place perhaps I've often visited
Steps taken cautiously best to avoid
The unexpected lover mourns in confusion
As sickness plays a toll upon the soul.

Weak spots taken huge risks
A fair age in number doubled
Months before we're tainted
I can question the justice received
The hardships came as a warning.

Ignorance was and is still bliss
Through seasons and changes
Everything and everyone seemed different
Like dust particles that remain impermanent
So does the time that we each have.

The seven sins I try to resist
Abused by often the innocent minds
The eyes see unconscious actions
and feel an unknown depth
I am and will not be afraid...

Thoughts at 1am

Often times I wonder how we met?
Why we met?
And out of all the people that exists
What brought the two of us together?
When we were shattered and broken...

Tonight I read an open book
Thoughts rambled like my tummy
Haywire and in all directions
Unstoppable with so many questions

I hate surprises and I hate that thought too
A Chirpy voice that sends eerie goosebumps
A Woman with no self dignity
Falter to only acting and the news

Unknown is how I choose to remain
But I know more than just a little of it all
Truth scanned in words before me
And before I even began...

Thoughts at 1 am
Insomnia as I like to call this feeling
Doubts, anger, hatred of the night
Silently triggers the hidden nerves

I know not of you
But I surely do not seem pleased of you
Thoughts cannot escape so lingers
Poisoning my mind from all I ever protected

Ignore and dont let it mould me
For any of this knowledge is dangerous
And encounters are messy
But I pick my head up and walk past it...

I voted!

Well on Wednesday i said i wouldn't vote and i almost didn't on Friday as well because the polling station didn't have my Voter Picture Identity Card which almost made me hopeless as the officials were clueless too so finally got one made in the ECB office and went to my polling station which was at Motithang Higher Secondary School. I was quite surprised that at 2 pm the hall was empty. So my sister and myself went and the officials were least bothered, didnt do any checkings so we had our mobile phones on and taking pictures. It was our first time voting and we had no idea what to expect. I guess they expected us to know but yes they were quite RUDE for jobless officials just sitting there fiddling on their phones.

My sister took a picture of me casting my vote and when I was going to take hers when i was finally told not to. The man then shouting 'no talking' at the seriousness of it all and  painted our nail with a marker pen. We  then exited the hall after a beep sound was made. There you go my vote is casted and in the evening  the results were out and PDP and DPT were the two contestants yet again for our next general elections.

Vote or no Vote?

Just when I was feeling cooped up away from all the Politics and the dirty business going on in the country, I've been faced with pressure to Vote?
They say one vote really makes a difference but seriously I have no idea who is even in my constituency or what each parties stand for. I may be ignorant or chosen to stay this way because it really doesn't make a difference to me.

Thinking back 5 years ago when the entire constitution was drawn and each citizen was given the right to vote, I was 20 years old and don't remember having much impact then. But with 5 years gone by with DPT as the ruling government, nothing has affected me. So I don't think even now voting for any party would make a difference because I am happily serving His Majesty the King  and i can least be bothered about complaining what the govt is doing and not doing.

If I don't vote they say I wont be able to complain but who wants to complain and about what? I don't think in the next 5 years I will find any reasons to complain against the ruling party just because of my lack of interest in politics.

Period.

I cant be broken

It's hard to dance with the devil on your back. Surely, we've heard that a million times, and we still cannot shake it off. I always...
