Amidst the ruins of an old fortress stood a dashing young man. He was donned in pure black and had a funny looking hat on. He looked out of place in this modern setting but he was surely a handsome lad.
He had the chiseled look of some Greek god that you'd normally see carved on a stone that is perfectly shaped without defection. But the only difference here was that he was from a remote village in Trongsa.
Driven with passion and loneliness he stumbled upon a young maiden a few years ago and she had stolen his heart as though it was true love at sight. She had the beauty that was beyond imaginable and skin fairer than the purest of milk. She had the perfect figure like a goddess that any man desired and the lips as soft as the petals of the flower. Her eyes too had set upon him with a glace never ever having had to steal or take it from him. Their love was a different kind of love that only they could understand. Somehow he always managed to convince her to hand her love over freely so he could love her back freely as well.
With nothing that lasts forever they lived every moment in bliss. Together they lived, laughed, loved and took chances without any regrets because everything they did was what they had exactly wanted. The community thought of them as hedonist who lived from day to day but to them every minute together was a moment of memory that mattered and having the courage to to face their fears unafraid.
No one is as strong as they seem nor careless as they pretend to be but she was very grateful to have him by her side every given moment. They attracted and complemented each other perfectly even though two people can be part of the same event but they may chose to live it quite differently than the other. What makes us human is precisely this freedom of choice but they vowed to live this life together. She vowed to help him love life, to always hold him with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands. And he in return vowed to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not. Together they both decided to live within the warmth of each other's heart and always call it home.
