Malcolm X


When I'm born I'm black, when I grow up I'm black, when I'm in the sun I'm black, when I'm sick I'm black, when I die I'm black, and you... when you're born you're pink, when you grow up you're white, when you're cold you're blue, when you're sick you're blue, when you die you're green and you dare call me coloured.

  1. i finished watching that movie just few days ago....was going through Washington's filmography and downloaded some....watched Malcom X...its a nice movie, but i dont remember the line which you wrote...

  2. Oh great..hope you enjoyed the movie...I'm not sure where or when he said this or if it's even in the movie but it's one of the most reputable racism quotes that stood out for me when i was studying racial inequality in my sociology class...
